Brandon and Winston are dynamic, charismatic speakers, but more importantly, they understand how to create safe and brave spaces for audiences to feel comfortable discussing difficult issues in a large-group setting. My students felt safe to ask a variety of questions, from misconceptions they had to personal feelings they were dealing with. Brandon and Winston blended research-based knowledge with their personal story, allowing attendees to stretch their thinking beyond what mainstream media has presented to them.

About

Based on Brandon’s popular approach to conversational, audience lead educational programs, Brandon and Winston have created an engaging presentation lovingly referred to as LGBTQ+ 101: Your Role in Creating an Inclusive, Affirming World.

What sets our presentation apart from others is that not only do we TRY to meet our audience where they are at, we actually send out a questionnaire prior to presenting. This allows us to cater the presentation to the needs of each organization that brings us in (whether it’s a high school, college, after school programs, or world famous corporations). We show up ready to answer your specific questions, and have YOUR goals in mind. Perhaps your audience knows what each letter in the acronym LGBTQQIAAP+ stands for and really is ready to get into the nitty gritty of building inclusive programming. Perhaps we need to start at square one with some definitions and tools to start a conversation such as defining the acronym. Perhaps your audience is like most and has a base knowledge but is thirsty for more tools to have educated, affirming conversations. Let us meet you where you are and empower you to move forward from there!

This method also serves as an amuse bouche, so to speak. It gives your audience a chance to begin thinking about these tough subjects, to begin identifying within themselves what areas they may need more information on.

What we end up with every time we present is a unique conversation that is started and facilitated by us, using examples from within our own experiences, but is driven by your team of attendees.

Have some questions? Ready to start the conversation? Great! Reach out through the form or by emailing us at info@letstalkabouthiv.com
